  1. The Emoji Twins- If you’re a texter, you’ve surely seen the emoji twins with the black leotards and bunny ears. Grab your best friend, your black leotards, and some black shoes, and you’re all set to go! You can also buy black bunny ears, or make your own out of felt and an old headband! Once you’re all ready to go, don’t forget to strike your best emoji twins pose!

  2. Eighties Rocker- You may have heard your mother say it before, but leotards were the height of fashion in the eighties. Grab your favorite colored leotard, leggings, and legwarmers, and you’ll look like you stepped out of an eighties music video. Feel free to add a colorful headband and cutoff sweatshirt to complete the look, not to mention some fun 80’s music!

  3. Fairy- If you have a leotard and skirt, you’re already halfway to having a fairy costume! Add some wings (store-bought or homemade) to your dance gear to complete the look! You can accessorize by adding a crown, wand, or even some pixie dust (glitter)- the options are endless!

  4. Mouse, Cat, or Bunny- Depending on the color leotard you have, you can always be a mouse, cat, or bunny for Halloween! Starting with a leotard as your base, you can make or buy animal ears and use eyeliner or paint to draw an animal nose and whiskers on your face. For extra points, you can even add an animal tail! The best part of this costume is its versatility- if you have a group of friends, each one can pick a different animal to dress up as!

  5. A Dancer- Even though your dance clothes might not seem special to you, how many friends do you know with a whole second wardrobe outside their day-to-day outfits? Being a dancer for Halloween gives you the chance to wear your favorite dance attire out in public, and gives you a pretty good excuse to show off some of your best dance moves!
